At Skea Organics we specialise in the production of seed potatoes with characteristics best suited to organic growing, including varieties with high levels of disease resistance. We also produce a selection of speciality and heritage varieties with unique and interesting tastes and appearances.
Within our website there are listed the varieties available for the 2009 planting season including this year a number of new maincrop varieties, both white skinned (Hunter, Galactica, Isle of Jura) and red skinned (Axona, and Setanta). All of these varieties have performed well in recent trials, and are generally high yielding with good overall disease resistance.
